"We are leaving the fifties and sixties and taking a step into the future for our Sonderschau." Frank Ruge - project leader of the Classic Motor Show in Bremen - is taking an advance on what awaits visitors to the upcoming event in the German Hanseatic city. In addition to the main theme - the wedge forms of the 1970s - various themes from a further past will be shown to the public. It is certain: the 2016 edition of the Classic Motor Show in Bremen will also be special.
The main theme is graced by beautiful concept cars such as the Mercedes Benz C111 and the BMW Turbo, according to Ruge the darlings of all generations. But the original fathers of the wedge forms will also be exhibited in Bremen. The Lamborghini Countach, the Lancia Stratos, the Maserati Khamsin and the Lotus Esprit: cars that were still considered true music of the future in the 1950s and 1960s.
Motorcycles from various eras
Ample attention is also paid to motorized two-wheelers. Both classic and modern motorcycles are represented. A selection: The Honda C 77 from 1959 with its 305 cc two-cylinder engine and modern details is there. Motorcycles such as the Yamaha TD 2 and a Suzuki XR 34 are also crowd pullers within the motorcycle spectrum.
100 year BMW
Of course, Bremen also pays attention to the 100th anniversary of BMW. The beauty of the beautiful BMW 328, the 507, the M1 and other popular classic cars from Bavaria will also be palpable in a figurative sense in Northern Germany.
Unique Beetles
In Hall 4 you can admire the decades-long history of the VW Beetle: You can see original cult objects from the Evergreen from Wolfsburg. A Beetle with “Brezelfenster” (Spectacle Beetle, 1951), an Oval (1954), a Dickholmer (1963), an 1303 (1974) and the Jubi beetles (1985) will liven up the fascinating Bremer show.
Commercial offer
Finally, the public can ascertain the presence of 90 clubs. There is also another commercial offer in Hall 6 consisting of TÜV-Rheinland approved young and old timers, brought together by numerous international traders. 230 classics and youngtimers are also offered in the "Parkhaus". And those who love - or search for parts and automobilia - can go to the specially equipped hall.
