Purchasing classics there

From 13 to 15 October one of the nicest classic events of the year takes place in Leek. The Sportcentrum in Leek will host the 22e Oldtimer and Classicbeurs. This year it presents numerous novelties. An area of 8000 m2 will be filled with vintage cars, classics, and everything that goes with it. The public will be able to marvel at cars and motorbikes from earlier times.

NSU Club present with jubilees

A special feature is the presence of the NSU Club, which this year has a number of very good reasons for highlighting the Neckarsulm heritage. In the year 1957 the Prinz I was introduced, the first post-war car built by NSU. Barely 10 years later, in 1967, the revolutionary Ro80 with wankel engine came on the market and was chosen as 'Car of the year'. The 1000 (C, TT and TTS) and the 1200 (C) were also introduced in the same year. Again 10 years later, in 1977, the last NSU rolled off the band in Neckarsulm. The NSU slogan 'Leading the way through technology' lives on in Audi from that moment on. The NSU club will put a number of jubilees (including a unique Prinz III 'racer') in the limelight, with attention also being paid to two-wheelers. There are three racing machines from Dick Theunissen on the stand (yr TT winner 1956).

Special Peugeot from 1903, various other clubs.

A large number of other clubs will also enhance the exhibition in Leek. PATAN, the A-Ford club, MG Noord, the VW and Bus club, the Ford Taunus M Club, Veterans motor club Roadster, Veterans Motor Club, KJMV motor club) are fixed values. The club offer has been expanded for this year. The clubs also ensure that the composition of the cars and motorbikes is always different. And many private vehicles are also on the Oldtimer and Classicbeurs. Special is a Peugeot from 1903, which we know from Museum Pakhuis Koophandel in Leeuwarden, where you read a report about this month in Auto Motor Klassiek. The French brand clubs present themselves again in a joint stand. They take part in the context of the exhibition French cars from 1903 to 1993- beautiful historical material from their brands.

Many stands with related matters

Of course there are again many stands with parts, thumbnails, documentation, tools and other items such as years '50,' 60 stuff for sale. Also stands with vintage cars and classics that are for sale. The exhibition halls will also be filled with live music again.

The Oldtimer and Classicbeurs opens on Friday 13 October. and will then be open from 17: 00 to 21: 00 hours. On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October, visitors from 10: 00 to 18: 00 hours can pick up their classic heart at the Leek Sports Center.
