Have you ever noticed that many things are certainly attributed to things that the speaker has no knowledge of? American V8s run 1 on 4, all Fiats rust and Citroens BXsen are the worst cars in the world ...
The chatty of know-it-all uncles on dull birthdays ...
People who do know what they are talking about are never emphatically certain.
Because they know better. Consumption is mainly in the right foot, in the seventies almost all cars rusted the hardest and "The Last Real Citroens ”are at most slightly more sensitive to regular maintenance than an Opel or Ford from the same time.
We arrive at the Michael Steiner BX GTI. That car is at the same in Ulft Citroen Specialist in maintenance who also hugs and cherishes the editorial BX. The undervaluedness and reliability of BXsen has often been discussed there.
Garage owner Peter sent us the definitive end to the discussion about reliability. He sent a photo of the white BX counter reading during a regular maintenance visit.
With regard to the valuation, everyone can of course draw his or her plan.
But Michael Steiners GTI proves that the reliability of his Golf GTI killer is a must. And don't think the BX is spared: Full throttle to Austria is a routine job for this marathon runner.
Hadie Peter, One of our freelancers is already ready for her fifth BX. With normal maintenance they are apparently as reliable as the best that comes from Germany. One of them was driven in half by a fellow countryman who first took two x red, another one was as crispy as a rusk around idd. There is some welding work on her current BX for the upcoming MOT, but the euri are already reserved for that 🙂
They are apparently extremely motor-strong, but they are defects and also rust in rotten places that now make the carts badger. For a nice and good BX you now pay heavily.
A friend of mine had a ZX-je, by the way, and they can spin tons, while they look like they won't make it the next summer.
