Purchasing classics there

For years it has had a permanent place in the agenda: The International Beetle Weekend. For years the air-cooled party was held in Budel; since a few years, the air-cooled VW caravan has moved to Wanroij on the third weekend of June. Wherever it is held: the meeting organized by the Keverclub Nederland is a huge draw. The starting signal has taken place today. The show lasts until 19 June.

Fur show with various markets
The 32 edition - held in Wanroij for the fourth time - again has a number of fun activities. Wanroij, for example, is characterized by the large parts market. Professional traders from all over Europe offer their parts. VW parts of course, but also literature, t-shirts and other gadgets can be found there. In total, the professional market contains such 150 market stalls. A separate area has been set up for beetle lovers who want to offer parts and other air-cooled VW "items" on a small scale. There is also room for the increasingly popular theme of "trunk sales".

Show & Shine
On Saturday & Sunday, the International Beetle Weekend is all about Show & Shine. An expert jury assesses the cars and compiles a Top 20 and assesses which car is the best in the show. The Top 20 of the air-cooled Concours d 'Elegance will be announced on Sunday, as will the winner of the show.

Buggy bin
The organization has also set up a real Buggybak, including sand, water and mud. Here Buggy owners can put their skills to the test. And anyone who wants to see that spectacle is of course welcome to view the progress. Sprint races are also organized, according to those responsible the most spectacular part, which looks a lot like a real "Aircooled Championship".

Vintage show
There is also the Vintage show. Only genuine Volkswagen old people are welcome here, regardless of whether or not they have been restored. There are conditions attached. For example, Beetles and Transporters may participate provided that the latest production date is August 1967. For the Type 3 (Pontoon, Fastback, Variant) and the Karmann Ghia (both Type 14 and 34), the deadline for August 1969 applies.

Feast of recognition
In short: the meeting that started today cannot but be a party for anyone with a soft spot for the air-cooled Volkswagen. Moreover, a feast of recognition, which will once again demonstrate that the popularity of Kever & Co is undiminished.
