On September 17, the tenth edition of the 4 x 4 Trial Wolvega will be organized in the municipality of Weststellingwerf. In a 25 hectare of sand excavation in Nijeholtpade - nine kilometers east of Wolvega - owners of a four-wheel drive car can enjoy themselves for a whole day on a beautiful, challenging and safe course. Responsible for the organization of the 4 x 4 Trial Wolvega is the Rotary Club Wolvega, which organizes the party for the 4 x 4 non-profit enthusiast. As in previous years, the proceeds of the event will be donated to a number of charities.
The 4 x 4 Trial Wolvega in the municipality of Weststellingwerf is held on a skill circuit that is presented to the participants in various difficulty levels. The terrain is large in size. It measures 25 hectares and is suitable for beautiful trials due to the excavations in the sand. This sand excavation is located in Nijeholtpade and is from Punter Grondwerken BV
Varied course
The organization promises that a varied course will be set out in this area with heavier and less serious obstacles. Some have a water bowl. In any case, the sand excavation offers space for every type of car with four driven wheels. Not only for the real terrain, but also for the modern luxury SUVs are enough options. All types of 4 × 4 vehicles up to 3500 kg are welcome on 4 x 4 Trial Wolvega. The organization does set conditions for participation. The vehicles must have a valid license plate and a valid MOT.
Nice charities
This year, the proceeds will go to the Boat Refugee Foundation, an organization that, among other things, is committed to the first reception of refugees on the Greek islands, off the Turkish coast. The second charity is aimed at elderly people who live independently, but hardly ever leave the house. With the proceeds of the 4 x 4 Trial Wolvega, the Rotary Club Wolvega is organizing an afternoon for the elderly in the capital of Weststellingwerf.
The costs are € 50 for the whole day if you register in advance via the internet and € 55 if you do not register in advance via our website but report at the gate on 17 September. Those who do not participate, but want to visit the 4 x 4 Trial Wolvega as a spectator, have free admission.
