The 50cc is the class that put the Dutch road race on the map internationally in the sixties and seventies.
A number of Dutch and foreign 50cc riders have united and will compete in numerous competitions under the name 50cc Classic European Cup. They even ride for an unofficial European championship. The best known participants are two-time world champion Jan de Vries and multiple GP winner Aalt Toersen. More information can be found at www.classic50racing.com.
European 50cc freetech is an open class with hardly any regulatory restrictions. A class where the real technician can still get rid of his egg. More than forty years ago there were already three cylinder 50 cc competition engines. So that should also be better
Handy to know: turbos and / or compressors are also allowed in that class.
But the cylinder capacity for blown dwarfs is then 25 cc
