6 volt and alternating current
Porsche held on to 6 Volt for too long. You can now connect to the alternating current!
This should be the very best news for the coming year for the classic-with-6-volt driving Auto Motor Klassiek reader. That category knows better than anyone that driving with the light on, the windscreen wipers who bravely want to do their job, possibly the blower of the heater switched on, listening to the old-fashioned radio, pushing it at the next fuel stop ...

The poor dynamo cannot handle its work. BP Autopassio'Nantes has the solution: an alternator for 6 volt installations from which the 10 and 15 amps are pumped, 30 to 300 Watt. Assembly is a piece of cake, within 10 minutes you must succeed. Further information: telephone 0033-2-4055.1610

  1. 6 Volt, no problem.

If you want to update the electrical system of your 6 Volt classic, you can order a new 6 Volt alternator in the USA at the cheapest price (not yet Euro 100, -). Make a mounting bracket yourself or you happen to have a pre-war Ford. He's been with me for almost 1 years now and it works perfectly.
