Dat Alfa It is well known that Romeo drivers are enthusiastic motorists. Casper's family's enthusiasm is infectious and starts with his father, who used to Alfa reed and now another one Alfa Spider owns. He even gives a Alfa Romeo Montreal a second life through a complete restoration. This strengthens the family bond with Alfa well explained. The Italian coachbuilders have designed countless models in the past. True masterpieces that you can safely call art. Also the version of Casper, a Alfa The Romeo GTV 2000 Bertone is shaped by human hands; the Bertone signature says it all.
In love?
Being in love with a Alfa...is that possible? Casper: “It Alfa-I got my blood from my father. I myself was a Alfa I drove a Giulietta, but with a growing family of teenagers, it became too small as a family car. The feeling of regret remained, resulting in me continuing to look for a classic. AlfaThe desire for the authentic experience and characteristic sound only grew stronger thanks to the enthusiastic advice of my brother, who drove a gray Bertone.
After much searching I came across this timeless legend: a Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV from 1973, in a stunning colour; Alfa Rosso. I couldn't pass up this opportunity and became the proud owner. But the story doesn't end there, because my son also bought one for his eighteenth birthday. Alfa Giulietta from 2010. As a family we can almost have a privateAlfa-organizing a ride; you don't have to wonder where the fascination comes from."
Healthy perfectionism
It's sometimes desirable to add modern technology to an original car. The reason: increased reliability, better performance, and a bit of extra comfort in busy modern traffic. Casper: "What I've had done since I bought it? Electronic ignition, an electric fuel pump, and the valves and carburetors have been adjusted. After those adjustments, the two-liter now runs beautifully. I also replaced the tie rods and tie rods with a set of Alfaholics, and a 29 mm thick stabilizer bar was installed for better handling. The car runs on slightly larger rims with sporty tires, which inspires a lot of confidence on the road. Nevertheless, the Alfa“Despite those updates, it feels as original as possible to me.”
Sincere interest
You sometimes wonder how owning a classic car of the same make can bring so many people together. Perhaps you should even call it "brotherhood." That shared passion creates strong friendships, the fastest way to the heart of the enthusiast.
When I drive my GTV 2000, I get thumbs up, honk my horn, and slow down to get a better look. You sense that people appreciate your commitment to rolling heritage and its preservation.

Those Nord engines were fantastic machines, easy to work on, and replacing cylinder liners and pistons was relatively inexpensive. Only those Webers, you could hear a loud "Godv" sound. Unfortunately, the bodies weren't great, and the engines survived with flying colors, but boy, what a car! Even my later GTV with a 6-cylinder van couldn't match it.
The Bertone is perhaps more beautiful than many Ferraris. A brand that was essentially run with bluff and delusions of grandeur. Not solid or reliable. Just like many Italians, I've had very bad experiences doing business with them.
Take good care of this GTV, an absolute bellisimo!🙏👍
Completely agree!
For me, it remains one of the most beautiful cars. As a student, I bought a 10-year-old 1966 1600 Sprint GT and had it for 10 years. Later, I bought a Nuova Super, and even later, a 155. The latter wasn't for me; the 1600 was a mighty thing, though I only drove it for a year or two (I put it aside after burning the piston on the fourth cylinder due to a stuck vacuum servo check valve). Unfortunately, these models have also become too expensive for fun, as is unfortunately the case with most classics. This is one of the cars I've owned and would love to own again, if only for the sound alone...
Beautiful model, enjoy it!
