Bologna is buzzing again – Auto e Moto d'Epoca 2025
From October 23rd to 26th, BolognaFiere will once again be the center of the classic car world. For four days, the fair transforms into a cathedral of motor oil, nostalgia, and design. The aroma of vintage leather interiors, two-stroke fumes, and espresso greets you even before you step into the hall.
The 42e edition of Vintage Cars and Motorcycles promises to be the largest yet: 235.000 square meters spread over fourteen halls, filled with everything that has ever driven, roared or raced.
75 years of Formula 1 – one seat, a thousand stories
One of the major attractions is the exhibition “75:1 – 75 years, one seat”An ode to three-quarters of a century of Formula 1, from gnarled tubular frames to carbon fiber works of art. Between the gleaming nose pads stand real heroes: the Ferrari 500 F2 with which Ascari won two world titles, the Mercedes W196R with which Fangio dominated the French Grand Prix, and even the Ferrari F2007 in which Räikkönen won the last world championship for the Scuderia.
You don't have to be an avid Formula 1 watcher to get goosebumps from this... the smell of Castrol R and the echo of old engines do the rest.

Honda Classic – 38 reasons to reflect on two-wheeled history
Honda celebrates its heritage with a giant Honda Classic-exhibition: 600 square meters full of vibrant memories. From the Elsinore CR250M which turned the motocross world upside down, until the RC211V with which Nicky Hayden became world champion in 2006.
Also the CB750 Four and the futuristic NR750 With oval pistons gleaming. Mechanical poetry, every single one. Honda isn't just showcasing engines here, but decades of daring, craftsmanship, and passion.

The Loh Collection – German grandeur with a touch of Pink Floyd
Anyone who prefers asphalt over gravel should head towards the Loh CollectionThere are rarities such as the Mercedes CLK-GTR, one of only 25 ever built, and the BMW M1 Procar with which Niki Lauda won the racing class of the same name.
That last one even drove to Le Mans with Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason behind the wheel. That says it all, really, about the atmosphere of this show: music, fuel, emotion – all in one hall.

ASI Village – where it all began
Among the shiny classics and the smell of polish stands something small but mighty: the Barsanti & Matteucci engine from 1853, the world's first combustion engine.
It's fascinating how a handful of Italian inventors 170 years ago laid the foundation for everything that stands here today. You'll also find the Alfa Romeo 184T F1 in Benetton colours, for those who love turbo sound and 80s flair.

ACI Storico and Stellantis Heritage – Italian pride in overdrive
The program ACI Storico pavilion also celebrates 75 years of Formula 1, with a line-up of Italian single-seaters that will leave many speechless.
In addition, it shows Stellantis Heritage HUB three pearls from Turin: the Fiat-Abarth 750 Record (six speed records in 1956), the Alfa Romeo Scarabeo 1600 and the rare Lancia D25. They're not museum pieces. They're witnesses to a time when speed still sounded like metal, gasoline, and courage.

Toyota's future among the past
And then, among all that steel and history, something new suddenly appears: the sixth generation Toyota RAV4, which is having its national premiere here.
Among the classic Ferraris and Fiats, it looks almost otherworldly. Yet, it also shows the path from then to now.

Motor Valley – Italy's fast-beating heart
Emilia-Romagna is more than spaghetti and Bolognese: it is the MotorValleyA region where names like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Pagani aren't brands, but family. At the show, they collectively present the spirit of Italian craftsmanship.
Anyone who has ever smoked the factory gates of Maranello knows what I mean: you can taste the passion.
Clubs, people and stories
And then there are the clubs. Because without the fans, there is no history.
The Renault Alpine Club celebrates the A310 and the Renault 5 Turbo, the Triumph-register shows two Michelotti-designed Spitfires, and the Citroën- and Peugeot clubs celebrate 70 and 60 years of the DS and 204 respectively.
Even the Fiat Registrar is bringing five historic single-seaters… from the Cisitalia D-46 to the Formula Abarth. These aren't showcase models: they breathe oil, rubber, and memories.

The smell of lubricant and time
Two halls are entirely dedicated to parts and automobilia. You'll find that rare cap you've been missing for years, or an enamel sign that once hung in a workshop.
And anyone who has something to do with watches can go to “Time on Show” rightly so, a fair within the fair, where vintage timepieces and mechanical beauty meet.
