Automatic concepts

Let's go back to last year. The opening of the German classic car season in Bremen attracted a record number of visitors. The main theme—just like during the recent InterClassics edition in Maastricht—was Japanese, setting a record attendance. This year, the organizers of the Bremen Classic Motorshow, led by Frank Rüge, have once again promised a gem of an event. In just one week, the gates will open again from January 30th to February 1st, providing access to a richly varied event with unique themes and familiar programming. More than seven hundred exhibitors are already promising to put together an unparalleled show.

Two main themes: car and motorcycle Sonderschau

Traditionally, there are two main themes. This year's special exhibitions focus on powerful 4x4 performance cars and elegant Italian motorcycles up to 400 cc. Starting with the former, the organizers have assembled a unique collection. These include the breathtaking Porsche 959 S, of which only 29 examples were built. The Subaru SVX, the legendary Opel Calibra V6 4x4 DTM, and the Jensen FF, the all-wheel-drive counterpart to the impressive Jensen Interceptor, are just a few examples. The 1932 Bugatti Type 53, of which only two examples were built, is a true exotic. The Ford RS200, a Group S rally prototype, and the experimental test vehicle for the Bugatti Veyron—the Lamborghini Diablo V16—are other crowd-pullers. And finally, we also mention the VW Golf II Bimotor and the 1984 Audi Sport Quattro S1 of rally legend Michèle Mouton.

24 Italian motorcycle classics

Motorcycle enthusiasts will also be greeted by a compelling main theme, which this year highlights the fascinating history of Italian two-wheelers. Your heart will be racing knowing that no fewer than 24 motorcycles of illustrious origins will be on display. And not only classic models from Moto Guzzi, Laverda, MV Agusta, Gilera, Benelli, and Ducati will be eye-catching. Motorcycles from Parilla, Caproni, Demm, Berneg, Comet, Moto Bi, and Rumi will also be on display. make this special exhibition more than worthwhile for true connoisseurs and enthusiasts. The motorcycles on display range in age from 1950 to 1993, with engine displacements ranging from 65 to 400 cc. This special exhibition in Hall 1 already looks fantastic.

Commercial offer: classics from various episodes

The Modern Classics section of the fair focuses on models from the late 80s to the early 2000s: cars with exceptional technology, limited editions, or iconic designs. On display are the BMW Alpina B8, Mercedes W124 AMG, Mazda RX-7 FD, and Ford Focus RS, among others. Three of the ten vehicles on display are even available for immediate purchase this year. And in the sales halls, visitors will find a wide selection of classic cars: from affordable everyday classics to rare sports cars. The vehicle show in the parking garage, with more than 250 cars at least 20 years old, also offers plenty of opportunities. This also applies to those interested in buying a classic or recent classic motorcycle, scooter, or moped. There is also an extensive parts market for restoration and maintenance, which you can visit in Halls 7 and 8.

Petromobilia auction

A relatively new feature of the Bremen Classic Motor Show is the Petromobilia auction "Oil & Rust," where original enamel signs and historic advertising items will be auctioned off. And in Hall 6, fans of American classic cars can indulge in the annual V8 exhibition. A fitting theme has been chosen for the 2026 edition of the Bremen Classic Motor Show, this time focusing on 70s Boogie Vans from Chevrolet, Ford, and Dodge. And of course, features like the Classic Custom Motorcycle Lounge, the focus on historic racing bikes, and the dedicated area for heritage technology training will be back, to name just a few of the extensive program.

Transfer with historical significance

A special moment will take place on the first day of the fair, January 30th. The international character of the Bremen fair will be highlighted by an event directly related to the history of car production in the German Hanseatic city. In Hall 5 (stand 5D20), the transfer of historical Borgward documents to the Bremen State Archives will take place. The history of car manufacturing in the northern German city is rich, as Bremen has produced brands like Lloyd, Hansa, and Borgward. The fact that historical factory and brand documentation from the brand's birthplace remains in Bremen is considered special and historically significant. This is just one of the program items the event has in store.

Wide range for every enthusiast

It's a given that visitors can expect a wealth of activities, exhibitions, and surprises. The offerings are extensive and, as always, include a selection of club stands, automobilia, books, miniatures, clothing, and numerous other elements that not only evoke the classic car experience but also get under your skin.
