The plans to place a life-size monument in honor of the Morgan Motor Company and its still enthusiastic owner / family in Morgan's hometown of Malvern have ended up in the danger zone.

The foundation that deals with this has indicated that if no more donations are made, the plan will be scrapped by 30 September. From 2004 onwards, people are already collecting money, with Morgan enthusiasts and club members, as well as Morgan and Ford dealers already making a nice contribution. So far there is 60.000 Pond on the bill. However, the bronze statue to be manufactured by Les G. Johnson costs 300.000 Pounds Sterling. It was promised that Arts Council England would account for eighty percent of the total amount through the National Lottery. That bill has now put a hefty line on it because the money is needed for the Olympic Games to be held in 2012 in Great Britain ...
