From 1 July, cars of 30 years and older can be imported again under the low VAT rate

Reportedly, the VAT on the import of classic cars has been reduced again to 6%. Good news for the classic car enthusiast, who saw them being transported to the high VAT rate in 2011. All this is the result of the actions of, among others, to bring the increased VAT rates on performing arts and the import of art objects back under the low VAT rate. This also repeals the decision taken in December 2010 (no. DV2010-537M) to abolish the low VAT rate.

Culture is not that bad.
