Purchasing classics there

Alfa Romeo is truly an enthusiast brand. It has a strong appeal to many people. A nice Alfa You don't see 33 that much anymore, let alone the 33 in a sports wagon version like the Alfa Romeo 33 Sportwagon 1,7 from 1993 in this article. What actually makes owning one Alfa so awesome?

Special class with its own face

Peter: “For me, my two hobby cars (Peter also has one Alfa Romeo GT 1300 from 1970) exciting driving. 20 years ago I went on a treasure hunt with my father and visited a lot Alfa dealers in the country. For me there was no offer via the digital route. That the search for one Alfa Romeo 33 Sportwagon finally succeeded shows this article. Anyone who owns a classic knows that it is more than a means of transport. My Italian masterpieces are therefore cherished and I remain a supporter of the one and only car breed in the world, namely the Italian.”

Two Alfa's in possession, that seems easy now. But keeping it running is often a different story. The work that needs to be done to maintain the optimal condition is not difficult, but it is expensive. It is often not easy to find the time for it either. The luxury driving machines are therefore back in the garage under a warm blanket. But the Alfa hobby remains pleasant. Many with a real car heart will agree. We remain sensitive to the design and appearance, but the impression the car makes on enthusiasts is also important for hobby life.

Glorious past

The sporting victories in the past have Alfa Romeo gave her name, just like the appearance of the production cars. For a real one Alfa Romeo enthusiast, driving is therefore more important than owning. The combination of driving characteristics with the beautiful sound provide the familiar Alfafeeling. Peter also radiates that involvement with his Alfas. It is the passion for the Italian master constructors and the preservation of his steel works of art. What more can you say? In any case, Peter enjoys behind the wheel on summer days, when he zooms through the landscape.

  1. I still drive my first car as a hobbyist, Mercedes Benz 220 D Aut now a restomod with a 6 cylinder turbo diesel in the front and ditto a day gearbox, all extras built-in navigation, air conditioning, electric windows, cruise, keyless entry and so on on

Alfa Romeo 33 Sportwagon 1,7 from 1993. 'Emozione' for owner Peter.

  2. Had the first type, 1.5 sedan with the hinged dashboard with handlebar height adjustment and the "airplane position" needles. What a steering machine! Even better than my later lowered Sam van Lingen Alfa 75 turbo
    Have fun though.
