Alfa Romeo Alfetta 2.0 Trintignant. Report in AMK 11-2025
The current edition of AMK has been available in your home and on the shelves of your familiar retailers for some time now. This edition includes a story about the Alfa Romeo Alfetta. The inspiration for this was a 1984 example. Auto Motor Klassiek built a story around this reportage car, and in AMK 11-2025, also takes you through the history of the model.
We describe where the name 'Alfetta' comes from. And of course, we also paint a picture of the Alfa Romeo from the early 1970s. We describe the role of the IRI, the state-owned company that had a major say in the illustrious Italian car manufacturer from 1933 until Fiat's takeover. And why did Alfa Is Romeo the Alfetta later than planned? Of course, we'll also cover the model history of the mid-size sports sedan (or should we call the striking Alfetta "Berlina"). This spanned twelve years before the 90s saw the light of day. And of course, we'll also cover the car's technical configuration. Incidentally, changes were made to that as well.
These qualities are palpable in the report car on duty, a 1984 2.0 Trintignant. We describe the origins of the name. And we describe the car, which was restored, with some modifications. Petrol Avenue from Eindhoven took care of the car. When the car finally ended up at Dijkstra Cars & Classics in Sexbierum, we took the opportunity to subject the Italian thoroughbred to a comprehensive driving experience and a photo gallery to match. The result is a compelling story and a more than satisfactory driving impression of the Alfetta. And that concludes the eight-page report in the latest issue of the magazine.
Of course, you'll read more, much more. You're already familiar with the usual sections. The classic car selection, advertisers, short articles, columns, and all related topics have been regular features of the magazine for years. And every month you'll read new articles. How about the story about the Fiat 1200 Trasformabile, the buying tips for those in the market for the Datsun 240 Z or 260 Z? The other stories? For example, about the two classic motorcycles: the Ardie RZ206 and the Laverda 1000 3C? You can read all this and much more in the current issue, which you can download here. the preview Are you reading? Don't have the magazine yet? Don't miss out!
