Purchasing classics there

Can you go to the dealer with your classic or youngtimer or do you have to go to a brand specialist? Does an importer do something for you if you have a classic? Let us know in the large AMK Classic Research!

You may have already seen on our Facebook page that we have started this investigation. Since we started earlier this week, we have already received dozens of responses. But it is also interesting for readers who do not use Facebook, so we naturally place it on our website. In this study, we focus on cars built in 2001 or earlier.

  1. What is the type and year of construction of your car?
  2. Are you a member of a club? If so, which, and do you benefit from it when maintaining, repairing or restoring your car?
  3. Have your maintenance and repcarry out arctions at a brand dealer or a specialist?
  4. What grade (from 1 to 10) would you give for the level of that dealer or specialist?
  5. Is it easy to get parts for your car?
  6. What rating (from 1 to 10) would you give for the parts provision?
  7. Do you think the importer and manufacturer do enough with the classics of the brand, or do you think they could better honor their history?
  8. What rating (from 1 to 10) would you give for the involvement of the importer and manufacturer in the classic world?

Give your answer in the comments or send an email to perry@hetautomobiel.nl. Of course we will keep you informed of the results!
