Anniversary edition PCN Easter Tour: classic Peugeots at their Easter best
The PCN pole tour on Easter Monday has become a firm tradition. As is well known, the three Dutch classic Peugeot associations — APH (Association Peugeot Hollande), PCN (Peugeot Club Nederland), and the 404 Vereniging — have been working together for many years. Nevertheless, there are events that are clearly linked to a single association.
The 20th Easter edition of the PCN marked a fitting anniversary in an equally fitting setting. The always beautiful Achterhoek, highly suitable for classic car rides, provided an excellent backdrop for the twentieth edition of the PCN Easter Tour. The starting location was the former hospital, later sanatorium, Ehzerwold in Almen: a stately and well-maintained estate that lends itself well to this type of gathering.
One hundred and twenty participants
Approximately sixty classic Peugeots and about 120 participants gathered at this location. They received a warm welcome with coffee and a small gift, followed by lunch. This provided an excellent opportunity to catch up after the winter period and to open the classic season for Peugeot heritage. Around 1:00 PM, the group of participants departed for a scenic drive through the Gelderse Achterhoek, marking the start of the PCN Easter Tour. The route led past farms, castles, and other characteristic buildings in a varied landscape.
Peugeot classics from different eras
The variety of participating Peugeots was extensive. The 504 was, as is often the case, well represented in sedan, coupé, and convertible versions. Other models were also present in convertible form, which suited the spring weather well. In addition, larger models such as the 604 and 605 were on display, as well as several fine examples of the 505. Younger classics, including the 406 Coupé and various 205s, complemented the field of participants. Several well-preserved sedans of the 204 were present, as well as a convertible. The related 304 was represented by multiple convertibles and a coupé. The 404 and 203 were also present in various versions. As always, this ensured that diverse Peugeot eras were appropriately represented. The PCN Easter Tour was no exception to this.
Well organized
The PCN Easter Tour has naturally become a tradition. The same applies to the way the approximately 72-kilometer route was put together by the organizers. The route book guided participants past beautiful spots and contained not only directions but also supplementary information and background details. The tour ended at Ruurlo Castle, where participants could chat on the terrace about the route and their driving experiences. Some of the cars were parked on the driveway and in the park, and as always, this provided a fitting backdrop.
Successful start
The PCN organization and volunteers ensured the day ran smoothly. That may all seem self-evident, but a great deal goes into every event. And that is why those responsible for the tour deserve extra praise. Together with the participants, and within a beautiful setting, they ensured a successful start to the 2026 Peugeot classic season. And not only that: in this way, the PCN Easter Tour also symbolized a wonderful anniversary.
