In 1996, Eelco de Jong took over the Audi 80 from his parents. The car was then 12 years old, wine red in color and equipped with a 1,6 engine. This is how the preference for Audi came about. In 1998 Eelco bought a temperamental Audi Coupé quattro from 1985 that was used for daily commuting.
