For 2017, the classic division of the brand with the four rings has a lot more in store. Audi Tradition announced where it will appear with some of its classics even more this year.
During the rest of this year, car enthusiasts can enjoy historic Audis at more than 20 international events. NSU is also discussed. The highlight is the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Walter Röhrl is behind the wheel of his Audi Sport quattro S1 Pikes Peak.

During the Goodwood Festival of Speed the hearts of rally fans will beat faster. Seventy-year-old Walter Röhrl, winner of the World Rally in 1980 and 1982, controls the Audi Sport quattro S1. He won the famous Pikes Peak hill climb in 1987. Röhrl rode in the quattros of Audi more often. From 1983 to 1987 he controlled the Audi quattro A2, the Audi Sport quattro, the Audi quattro E2 and the 200 quattro in the rally World Cups. In 1985 he finished third in the overall World Championship standings and won the San Remo rally, while in 1984 he won the Monte Carlo Rally with the quattro A2.
Mountain King
The Auto Union Type C will be in action at two events this year. He is active during the Großglockner Grand Prix (September 21 - 24). He also makes an appearance during the Classic Days at the Schloss Dyck (4 - 6 August). Former Formula 1 driver Hans-Joachim Stuck drives the Type C during the Großglockner Grand Prix. Special, because his father, Hans 'The Mountain King' Stuck, won the race with the same car in the XNUMXs.
Other events
In addition, Audi Tradition takes classic Audi's to the Bodensee Klassik (4 - 6 May), Sachsen Classic (17 - 19 August), Kitzbüheler Alpenrallye (7 - 10 June), Schloss Bensberg Supersport Classics (1 - 3 July) and the Italian Gran Premio Nuvolari (14 - 17 September). The Danube Classic (22 - 24 June) and Heidelberg Historic (13 - 15 July) this year are mainly devoted to NSU and the Sachsenring Classic revolves around classic motorcycles. Audi Tradition is launching the year with a collection market for model cars on December 3 at the Audi Forum in Ingolstadt.
