At the time that Soesterberg had not yet been abandoned by the Americans, Autopart started in Den Dolder as a demolition of yank tanks of American personnel returning home. Those were the cowboy days.
To our surprise we noticed that the company - now considerably less wild, but just as considerably better organized - still exists. And that they still have stuff for the cars that it all started with before they started.
Very funny. All good memories came back.
