AMK reader Jan Eggink had a dream: he wanted to own the most beautiful car he had ever seen: an Alpine. When he had saved so much that he once dared to sit down and test with Kout cars, the bottom of his dream fell away: He simply didn't fit in his car.
Alpine is now reborn. Jan has resigned himself to his loss of dreams, but the new Alpine is also suitable for people of a Western European size. And how should we estimate the re-use of the illustrious brand name? It will be a marketing concept again.
Alpine has taken the veil of the newcomer during the start ceremony of the 24 Hour of Le Mans.
The Celebration is the harbinger of the sports car with which Alpine returns in 2016.
The new Alpine must combine sportiness with usability and would be such an 300 hp strong.
But it is no longer the Alpine from very many boy's dreams and the books of Michel Vaillant.
What a pity
