It seems such an easy option: boosting normal tires to whitewall tires.
The most responsible way is to paint the flanks with specially developed paint.
The secret of this white tire paint is that it really hardens beet, so it stays flexible.
But because everything has its limitations, this flexibility is put to the test when the paint is used on radial tires. After all, they have flexible walls, so that the white paint layer is constantly massaged, nevertheless dries out more and can crack.
But this paint works great on diagonal tires.
What also works quite well in itself, but the police of our eastern neighbors react to it rather carelessly, those are the 'white wall plug-in rings' that give the suggestion of whitewall rubbers. With proper assembly and a quiet driving style it is not too bad, but according to the Germans the rings are still too dangerous for use on public roads due to hot development, blowout danger and loss.
