Because we classic enthusiasts are not only interested in technology: Beekbergen is an annual - or twice a year, we have to find out - an event with gardens, art and music.
That may seem more like a surprise for your partner.
But the region there is so un-Dutch, rustic and rural that it is wonderfully classic driving. And the art presented in the open gardens can often be called beautiful without elitist vague bleating. Real art touches you directly in your heart.
But the big surprise was the performance in one of the gardens of BNK Music, the trio of Benjamin Kuijpers. A guitarist, a bassist and Benjamin Kuijpers himself as a singer and saxophonist. There are more artists who are driven and entertaining (and make good music), but this open-air performance was a party for everyone present. Benjamin Kuijpers was noted as an enthusiastic, passionate craftsman. A guy with "throat" and swing. Also unreinforced and in the open air.
After years of experience in pop-soul-jazz-rock and gospel bands and in many acoustic ensembles, he only wants to touch people with genuine music. Playing from his toes, but especially from his heart. And as much as possible.
Leaving the gardens and art aside: we also see BNK as a success number at your meeting or event.
