Unfortunately, the question is: where will you as a potential buyer find the Kadett D GTE of your dreams? Every now and then one pops up. A copy that is still worth buying. An original Kadett D GTE has front-wheel drive and the 115 HP 1.8 liter injection engine. All GTEs are tax-free, because they were built before 1985. It is not uncommon that amounts around 5 grand are asked for an original copy. Make your move if you get the chance. They will never be worth less than 5 grand.

Small correction, everything after 1974 is no longer tax-free per 1 January
so you also have to pay tax for the Kadett D GTE.
