Classic: What is in a name?

"Our classics" are usually the vehicles from nostalgia, from our youth, the car or motorcycle from our fathers. The dreams we had. We live from the perspective that our favorite vehicles have emotional added value. And reality has overtaken us left and right. Because De Moderne Mensch views classics as an investment object. Because it cannot be true that something that is no more or less than a dated piece of technology is suddenly worth tens of millions? That type of vehicle shifts via the stage of Bonhams, for example, from one air-conditioned safe to the other.
Let's check out what's on the wish list of investors
* The current interest rate makes the purchase profitable.
* There may not be many (made) And in addition Harley-Davidsons and Rolls Royces are no longer guaranteed toppers
* The history of the vehicle. Has anything been won with it? Has an American president been shot dead?

Many older people in their fifties and younger sixties are therefore in a painful field of tension. And moreover, the prices of classics that are just a lot of fun to drive are much more manageable than those of the top auction pieces. So we don't have to be without it.
