AMK reader Huug van Steenderen sent a photo. He must have found him somewhere on the Internet. The photo was water-marked so we don't reproduce it here.
What we see on it is a Vollschwingen BMW with, in our opinion, a BMW LS 700 block. The caferacer looks slick and there seems to be a link to 'Oudshoorn'.
In our opinion, such a BMW LS block misses the attachment points under the block, because it simply hung on the gearbox in the car. With the BMW motorcycles, the box hung on the block.
It must have been technically possible. After all, there are also VW blocks in those types of BMW frames.
Huug would like to know more about this engine. And under Chalopy we found a blog with a lot of small Honda (moped stuff), some USA classics, but no contact button. So we can't get rid of our questions there.
Who, oh who?
Hondaclassiracing.blogspot.nl is my blog. The BMW is my father's.
R69s block with 700ls heads.
I have a VW motorcycle built by myself with an 50 block for 1600 years.
Given the text, assume that the BMW is 1 and not the one in the photo.
Here you can find a little bit about that specific 700 old horn:

Thanks for the reply!
