But sometimes life is very simple. With light, slightly arched dents, the 'memory' of the material sometimes works. The reminders you need for this are a hair dryer / electric paint burner and such a spray can with air as is available at photo and computer stores or cold air from the compressor vessel.
Heat the dent and its surroundings with the hair dryer until the sheet metal is warm on site. But be careful not to burn the paint. Fortunately car paint can have nice temperatures.
Then blow into the heated area with the cold air.
There is then a good chance that the dent will "pop" and the case has been repaired almost invisibly.
PLEASE NOTE: This trick only works with very faint dents without incisions or sharp edges.
The 'denting' of plastic body parts can also be attempted with heat. If the plastic in question is thermoplastic in any case. The memory and the residual stresses of the material are then gambled again.
Pour boiling water over the dent and the edges on the edges with a watering can. Then press on the back of the dent. There is a good chance that the material will return to its original form.
