Whole wars have been waged over what is 'original'.
But once it was not at all uncommon to have your motorcycle sprayed 'custom' before delivery - or shortly afterwards. In a somewhat later phase of the motorcycle fashion, 100% colored motorcycles were unsaleable.
Now they are carefully crawling out of their hiding holes, back into the daylight again.
For example, Goos Bos, the boss of Motoport Hengelo, has a company that clearly needs new and ZGAN engines and sparklingly colored Kawas Z 1000, which in any case is 100% 'time original'. And somebody's gotta be here someday heeeel have been proud of
The engine comes from a private collection.
