Purchasing classics there

FEHAC maintains good contacts with numerous organizations. The organization focuses on companies that are involved in regulations and activities related to old-timers. In addition, the role of specialized companies within the industry is valued. The FEHAC has a good relationship with the Dutch Car Restorers Association. Both parties have expressed their concerns about the expertise in restoration and maintenance of vintage cars.

"Regular maintenance is important"

It is said that it is important to have classic vehicles serviced regularly, even with few kilometers. After all, MOT alone is not maintenance. Moreover, the importance of expertise in relation to the preservation of mobile heritage is highlighted. It is also expected that FEHAC and Dutch Car Restorers will not only give substance to the contemporary preservation of classic vehicles. Future craftsmanship is also examined. For example, the profession of classic car technicians is only sparsely supplemented by specifically trained personnel of a young age.

Training very valuable according to FEHAC

“Specific training for the next generation of young people with a passion for classics is needed more than ever. Restoration requires craftsmanship and knowledge of the techniques and materials originally applied. ”FEHAC furthermore states that it is important that cars can be restored in detail. “Our mobile heritage is formed by mobile artworks. Thanks to perfect restorations and optimum maintenance by specialist companies, we can continue to enjoy this for a long time. ”

Dutch Car Restorers has 35 affiliated companies

The FEHAC wants the vehicle owners to engage good companies for the restoration and maintenance of their old-timer. The Dutch Car Restorers Association has 35 affiliated companies: 23 restoration and maintenance companies, and 12 agents.
