Purchasing classics there

Renault and Concours d 'Élégance Paleis het Loo: they have been inextricably linked for some time. Also this year, the French brand was prominently present at the event. The French car brand, which is celebrating its 2018th anniversary in 120, looks back on a long weekend in Apeldoorn. The brand's anniversary was celebrated with the theme 120 years of Easy Life.

Nice is that the term Easy Life is linked by Renault to numerous models. The 120 anniversary was also celebrated in the forests of Gelderland. The public was allowed to admire numerous historical models. In addition, individuals made a number of classics of the brand available.

Far past, possible future

At the Renault pavilion, visitors were able to travel back in time and make their way through history. Special cars that could be admired at the Concours d'Élégance were the Type B from 1899, the Vivaquatre, the NN and even the Town Car from 1905. The Étoile Filante with gas turbine engine and spectacular RS 2027 Vision, which bridges the past to the future, also made a good impression in Apeldoorn. In their own words, they showed the vision of the possible Formula 2027 of the future with the RS 1 Vision.

Easy Life and volume models, Alpine

Important commercial models from the fifties, sixties and seventies were of course also represented. A Renault 4 of the first series, an 8, an 16 and an 30 TS were symbols of the historic journey through time, giving substance to the Easy Life geuze title. This also applies to more historical models, such as a beautiful Dauphine and an open Floride. Sporting daughter Alpine was also present. Alpine took the opportunity to present the new A110 Pure and A110 Legend. Naturally, the necessary classics of the sporty Alpine were also visible. They stood fraternally alongside the historic section with Renault models.

Proud retrospect

Renault speaks of a success. "Thousands of visitors found us and got to know the present and past of our brand up close."
