For true lovers of classic vehicles, oldtimers and everything that has to do with nostalgia, Eelde Classics is the place to experience your passion. On Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November 2024, the Flowerdome in Eelde will be transformed into a paradise for car enthusiasts, collectors and families. With a mix of classic vehicles, parts markets and special activities, this event has been a household name in the north of the Netherlands for years.

Mini-Sevens: 65 Years of Iconic Charm

One of the highlights of this edition is the special attention for the Mini Seven, which is celebrating its 65th anniversary this year. Since its debut in 1959, this small, compact car has become a global icon. At the Mini Sevens Club stand, you can admire a special selection of models, ranging from the original Austin Mini to later versions. In addition to the cars themselves, there are also stories, photos and other memorabilia on display that chart the rich history of the Mini. For young and old, this charming car brand remains a source of inspiration and pleasure.

A program you don't want to miss

The fair offers more than just vehicles. In the eight large halls, together good for 23.000 m², there is something for every enthusiast. Think of unique oldtimers such as the Cadillac 353 Convertible Coupe, pioneer cars and exclusive classics that you rarely encounter in the wild. Motor enthusiasts and owners of youngtimers will also get their money's worth here.

In addition to the classic vehicles, there is plenty of room for activities and presentations. At Ekowax, for example, you can learn how to wash a car without scratches without water, even if it is heavily soiled. Fredericks brings the atmosphere of the past to life with a unique combination of music, pictures and films from times gone by. Parts enthusiasts can visit the Drost stand, which offers a treasure trove for restorers and tinkerers with 100 m² of parts.

The Pionier-Automobielen Club is providing extra spectacle this year with a selection of extremely rare examples, including the legendary Opel Blitz. These vehicles are living proof of the innovation and craftsmanship of the past.

  1. Last time before corona. Those atmospheric photos make me think I should go again, seems fun. I think 15 euros is a bit expensive, but hey, most events have become quite expensive. Fortunately, you can park here for free, which saves some money.
