We came up with the idea of giving someone their own street sign as a birthday present. A real copy. And then you start searching.
And what we were looking for appeared to be a stone's throw away from the editors. Langcat Enamel is in Laag-Soeren.
That company has existed for about an eternity and was already famous in the 30871s for its plates in the so-called tableau version (Dutch Patent XNUMX). These are the signs with the “ears”, the big advantage of this was that the image on the sign itself was not damaged when the signs were attached to the wall.
In the meantime, Langcat has of course also started doing plestik, but the enamel leg is still very sturdy. So we got a birthday present. That was a huge success.
But for people who are looking for it in our own hobby corner, it is also nice to think 'out of the box'. Tinkering on or looking at your pride gives so much more when it happens in a stylish environment.
And in the meantime, it occurred to us whether exhaust manifolds and exhaust bends could not be enamelled either…
