English humor

The English have a distinct sense of humor. That became clear when we saw this Rover P 6 at our hotel a few years ago.

It was a beautiful car. But nowhere did we see people who belonged to it. There was also a wedding party at the hotel and so I initially thought that the car was meant for that. That turned out to be a wrong thought. But the next morning we saw that the crew consisted of two elderly gentlemen with their two sons. They had been to the Goodwood Revival.

For years the car had been in the garage and because they were going to the Revival, the son had made the car running again and had a valid MOT come up. There was a striking detail about the car. A man was stuck to the rear window. I had a faint idea of what the male behind the rear window intended. Indeed. The male was specially mounted in the car for aggressive drivers of modern cars. In particular from two specific brands. I won't mention the brands here, but I couldn't deny it either.

The moment those cars crawled onto the rear bumper, it was time for action, and with the help of a bellows the little man could lower his pants. Great fun, of course, for the occupants of the Rover who could see the surprised face of the tailgater.
