Purchasing classics there

Apparently, everything that consumers are not yet fully familiar with is currently underway. And what they are just as scared of is burning their fingers.

One of those festivities is the 'classic auction' phenomenon. An activity that can end very easily, especially online, when you jump into the deep with confidence.

And that is not even because the auction houses can be blamed for something, which do what they were designed for. And they are quite realistic when it comes down to it.

On the other hand: As a private individual you may buy your dream car at a 'commercial price'.

However, look carefully through the sales conditions. Because at an auction, for example, structural 'premiums' are added. And you buy a vehicle 'as seen' without having made a test drive with it. In short: you take the risk that the pros themselves calculate in the knowledge that it can always be disappointing.

And if things go wrong, the pain is not too bad for the trader because he has legally had his windfalls and will get them.

You as a private person, on the other hand ...

But hey: if things go well you are just as good a buyer.

Go to the viewing days anyway and do not expect a spectacle like at American auctions ...
