From the 90s to 2008, in East Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, with Hulst as the start and finish location? This rally was a household name in the Netherlands and beyond. Most rally drivers at the time were full of praise for the special stages, which often consisted of winding dikes between Hulst and Walsoorden.
That race won't be back, but a group of rally enthusiasts and car fanatics joined forces last year to revive the atmosphere and beautiful rally stages.
They then mapped out a tour, part of which covered the trials at that time.
On Sunday, March 29th, this tour will be in its third edition, with the first car departing at 10:00 AM from the Grote Markt in Hulst for the first leg. Another ride will follow in the afternoon. The finish line will also be at Hulst's Grote Markt. There's plenty to see and do on the terraces of the restaurants and cafes and in the Grote Markt itself. Come and take a look and bring your classic car.
It is certainly not a competition but a tour with all the associated traffic rules.
