Once… In the Eastern Block

Here in the West self-efficacy is slowly returning to the hobby world. The trend to outsource everything has - of course partly due to the crisis - become less.

And look at how simple working on a classic has become with the courses and tools that our advertisers offer.

This also lowers the threshold. So we go back to work ourselves. And with labor invested every hour, we become more traditional and more sustainable ourselves.

But in what was once the Eastern Block, they could only dream of what we had in the West. And because they wanted to have the illusion of a dream anyway and were able to handle their craft very well ...

The NSU 500 chopper is a very early example of this. And the moss-green monster is really made to impress or to resemble something. Endearing or horrible?

The black, double-wide expanded Lada is an exemplary piece of bodywork. Certainly if you consider under what kind of craft conditions such a creation was born.

Buying in former Eastern bloc countries is usually not the problem. But the farther east you go, the higher the various 'presents' to officials and other phenomena behind desks and in uniforms driving up prices.

We still know that in Cherkassy…
Oh well, never mind…
