Now that it is finally allowed again – also in Belgium – the 32nd edition of Flanders Collection Cars will take place next weekend in the Flanders Expo. One of the larger classic car fairs in Belgium.

On September 11 and 12, the classic enthusiast will find around 10.000 m2 about 125 exhibitors, who will show their classics, parts and other related items to you and/or offer them for sale. The organist expects a nice and interesting mix.

Varied offer

Even if you are looking to fill in your 'man- or woman (yes) cave', you will probably find a few things here, because there is also no shortage of vintage furniture and art, nor all kinds of memorabilia.

Postponed

The organization says: "In accordance with annual tradition, Flanders Collection Cars is a high mass for passionate enthusiasts of old-timers and the lifestyle that goes with it." The fair could not yet take place in February, due to the known cause, and it was forced to postpone until this month. “We are extremely excited that, despite the challenging circumstances, we can do what we stand for with Flanders Collection Cars: bringing people together to share their passion for classic cars. We notice from the many positive reactions that the community is looking forward to meeting again this weekend after a long time. That's what we do it for as organisers!”, says Kobe Engels, one of the organisers.

Affordable classics

This year, Flanders Collection Cars is going back to the essence of the fair concept: affordable classics. The Datsun 240Z featured on this year's bill pays tribute to iconic models at an affordable price point. With a few partners and collectors, a collection is exhibited in honor of the affordable four-seat coupés, of which cars such as the Porsche 928, Ford Capri 2600 RS, Jaguar XJC, Mercedes SLC and Volvo P1800 are part.

Come with your oldtimer

Visitors who come to the fair with a vintage car – and in contrast to the beginning of this year there is in any case no brine on the road – are allowed to park right in front of the entrance of the Flanders Expo, which is parking lot PA4. “In this way, we are not only doing these visitors a favor, but everyone can enjoy this extra old-timer show when entering and leaving,” adds Kobe.

The presale is already breaking all records. You can order the tickets online with a € 2 discount until Friday evening via www.flanderscollectioncars.be. It is of course still possible to buy a ticket at the box office for €15 per person (without having to register in advance). Children up to the age of 12 can visit Flanders Collection Cars for free when accompanied by an adult.

You will certainly not be disappointed…
