A few years ago we had a warning for you about 'fire on board' and how to avoid this. One of the reasons is that the pressed copper pipes in the gas pump could release from the housing after thirty-five years of loyal service and the improper replacement of the flexible fuel hoses.

You can re-glue such a pipe in it again, but perhaps it is more convenient to make threads in the pump and on the pipe. You can screw it in. Apply the so-called 'pipe fitter tape' to the wire of the pipe. That prevents possible leaks now and in the future ...

  1. Concerns repair of pipe connections to gas pump housing.
    For repairing with thread tapping and cutting, you will have to use, or pipes with a larger outside diameter, or standard hose pillars, because you cannot use the original pipes.
