Bonnet ornaments. Of course, these kinds of decorative elements are nowadays explicitly declared dangerous, just like smoking, drinking alcohol and unprotected sex.
But between the years 20-50 from more than a century ago, a bonnet element was a statement. There were even companies that had specialized in the production of the most beautiful copies possible.
