Major fire in the Harderwijk printing company
Fire vehicles from Harderwijk and Ermelo have been deployed to fight the fire. The man lift from Nijkerk was also called up. A lot of smoke was released during the fire. It concerns a building from 2006, therefore it does not contain asbestos.
The fire brigade was able to prevent transfer to surrounding buildings. The run-off was going to take some time.
The fire started in a printing company mid-afternoon and spread rapidly. The complex is approximately 2500 square meters in size and half of it has burned down. In addition to the printing company, another five to ten companies were damaged. There are approximately 12 companies in the building. Nobody was injured. (source 112Harderwijk)
Frank 't Jong's Mark 2 Vicarage was an important extra in that fire, a large fire, in Harderwijk.
The damage to the car falls under 'collateral damage', the Jag itself has not been burned, but so affected by the heat that a total restoration is needed.
And the insurance story? That was again one of the small print. We have noticed this before and in earlier reports in AMK.
And crowdfunding funds have been set up for less important things.
We will keep you informed…
And wish Frank strength
