Suddenly they were back in Hardenberg: open megaphones.

The exhausts that make four-stroke sounds the most beautiful (and can make the engine character completely meaningless). Apparently someone in Eindhoven makes them, but they were with various exhibitors from the English corner.

Such an open roar pipe is no longer entirely contemporary. But oh well ... People who don't like the sound of a roaring twin or a hysterically crying four-pitter, they just don't listen. And consider how much noise the birds make again this spring. And that such a freshly arrived JSF 4 x makes as much noise as an F16 ...

We delved into our archive to find out what happened with those open pipes. At Ducati you used to get just one when you purchased it. Good times were those ... And Paul Klaver wrote about it in - we thought - the weekly magazine "Motor" printed in black and white on newspaper.

ATTENTION: the installation of a megaphone can drastically change the engine character and requires at least considerably larger main nozzles!
