Purchasing classics there

The third edition of InterClassics Brussels has started today. The Zapp family, traveling with the Graham Paige Model 610 for seventeen years, today opened the prestigious classic fair in the Belgian capital. InterClassics will be held in Brussels Expo up to and including Sunday 19 November.

The main theme of the fair this year is The Big Five, Presenting The European National Motor Museums'. The five leading and most prominent motorcycle museums in Europe will unite during the third edition of InterClassics Brussels. According to the organization of the Belgian classic event, this has never been seen before. In any case, visitors will have a unique opportunity to see masterpieces from five countries at the joint pavilion during InterClassics Brussels.

Three top pieces per museum

Each museum will present three of its top pieces. The special vehicles are subdivided into categories. The first category contains one pre-war classic per museum. Furthermore, the five museums take one car with them, which is typical of the museum in question. The third category consists of racing cars. It is the five participating museums National Automobile Museum of Torino (which includes the Cisitalia 202 SMM Nuvolari Spider, see image), the Louwman museum from The Hague, The Cité de l'Automobile / Schlumpf Collection from Mulhouse, Autoworld Museum in Brussels and The National Motor Museum from the United Kingdom.

BFOV Village

Furthermore, the Belgian Federation for Old Vehicles with a major theme will make its appearance in Brussels. Through a real BFOV Village. Visitors and exhibitors at InterClassics Brussels will be presented with a varied program of demonstrations, lectures and a special exhibition will put a club in the spotlight. And talking about clubs: numerous historic automobile clubs make their appearance in Brussels.

The Zapp family, a must for the visitor

Of course, the Zapp family is also present until Sunday. Anyone who has the opportunity to travel to Brussels and visit Inter Classics cannot really ignore the family's stand. Candelaria and Herman Zapp have a beautiful story to tell. They speak to the visitors again with great passion and dedication about their world trip, which has been going on for seventeen years.
