From 12 to 16 May, the International Mini Meeting will be held for the 38e time. This year, 3.500 Mini owners are expected to make their appearance in Lommel, Belgium. The annual festival is organized this year by the "Mini Fun Club Belgium" and is accessible to both "classic" Mini and "New" Mini owners.
Mini adepts from all over the world will settle in Lommel. It is something the organization is looking forward to. It is also very special that as a guest of honor none other than Runo Aaltonen will be present. Aaltonen contributed significantly to the iconic status of the small car with the big name. He won the 1967 edition of the Monte Carlo Rally with a Mini Cooper.
Lots of variety in cars and activities
The organization has put together an attractive program. In addition to many different Mini's, visitors will also be able to assure themselves of the necessary festive occasions. The inner person has also been considered. There will be enough catering points on the site. Furthermore, the festive event is enlivened by live music, activities for children, and numerous presentations from Mini clubs.
Pure cult
Participants and visitors who want to enjoy the typical atmosphere around the British icon for longer can use the nearby campsite. They can fully immerse themselves in the Mini experience, which will be compiled in Lommel by preferably 130 Mini clubs. It is a form of experience that in all likelihood will best be described as "pure cult".
