In the magazine "Arts & Auto", which the medical stand plus all medical students receive, those 'Cars' are no longer directly the guideline. Fortunately, the car idea is still alive among editors & readers.
On 6 June the magazine is organizing a party because of its 80th birthday Glory Mariënwaerdt, an estate of more than 900 Ha located in the Betuwe between the villages of Beesd and Tricht, Deil and Enspijk. If the magazine had been founded a little earlier, it would probably have been called "Doctor & Motorcyclist", because such a motorcycle was the first step towards a motorized patient visit for most GPs.
But it is the cars that have won and 'cars' are an essential element of that party.
For us, “Arts & Auto” is and remains literally a nostalgic image. As a child at primary school, Doctor IJma made his home visits in a Peugeot 403….
We congratulate the editors of Arts & Auto and wish them a very nice day!
