During the Isle of Man Classic TT, not only will the classic (vintage) race horses appear at the start, there will also be racing with the very first superbikes, including legendary 2 branches such as the Suzuki RG500 and the Yamaha YZF500. beside rijden during the Manx Grand Prix a whole bunch of "newcomers" on modern fast machines huone race.
The extent of the speed differences can be seen especially during the training sessions, where the different classes are mixed up and it is not uncommon for classics riders to be faster than the newcomers.
The Manx Grand Prix continues to gain popularity. In the meantime, it is now more than ever an open-air museum where you will find the most extraordinary motorbikes on the street. Many of the drivers who used to ride in front, such as Giacomo Agostini, Luigi Taveri, Phil Read, Jim Redman and Dieter Braun, are regular visitors to the Isle of Man.
Beautiful beautiful island
It is of course very nice to drive the same lap with your own motorcycle (60km) as the drivers, but outside the circuit the Isle of Man has much more to offer. In "the Mountains" you find yourself in the Scottish Highlands, there is an exciting rocky coast and there are plenty of glenns and beautiful steering roads. But the question is whether you are all ready for that, because there are numerous activities, happenings and shows organized every day.
