The vintage car season is in full swing. That of course means that the events, meetings and tours are rampant again. For the coming weekend there are again some fun events on the agenda. On Saturday owners and fans of classic motor vehicles can indulge in Leek and Joure. On Sunday, a "Lazy Sunday" and an annual recurring phenomenon take place in Drachten and Aalsmeer, respectively.

Saturday June 11: Cars & Coffee at Hofman, Vroem in Joure
Next Saturday finds in Leek- at Hofman - the third Cars & Coffee edition of this year already took place. The meeting will take place in the Hofman parking lot at Rodenburg 1 in Leek. Cars & Coffee has since grown into a pleasant and informal meeting, where everyone is welcome. From an old-timer owner to the owner of a brand new car: the wide range of cars will undoubtedly bring a great diversity with it. Sign up is not required and there are no costs associated with this event, which is held from 10.00 hours to 13.00 hours. 

Vroem!
In Joure a new Vroom! release edition. At nine o'clock in the morning the participants are welcomed with coffee in Joure. After a pleasant get-together at half past nine, the starting gun for the tour is given. The participants drive in a column through the Midstraat. A photo is taken on the rally stage. After this, a one and a half hour tour through the beautiful Frisian environment begins for the participant. Along the way, some surprising elements will emerge. Around noon, the vehicles are expected back and set up in Midstraat where they and her owners can be admired by the arriving public. Vroom! has been regarded as a special and pleasant event for years.

Sunday 12 June: Lazy Sunday at Wagenfolks and Aalsmeer Roest Niet
Next Sunday it's Lazy Sunday at Wagenfolks on the Tussendiepen in Drachten. The sympathetic and authentic Drachtster company organizes a Cars and Coffee where all brands are welcome. Daniël van Aken is present and will carry out valuations. Incidentally, according to the organization, the following applies to the valuations: full = full. Wagenfolks - nevertheless a place where the classic VAG heart beats with temperament - really likes it when owners come with cars of all kinds. To speak with Wagenfolks: “Whether you come with a Japanese, Italian, French, Russian, American or whatever nice car you have: the coffee is ready from 10.00:XNUMX am.” The hospitable company also offers visitors the opportunity to hold a car boot sale.

Aalsmeer Does Not Rust
Finally in Aalsmeer the annual edition of Aalsmeer Roest Not held: a tour for classic cars and motorcycles. The participating vehicles must be from before January 1, 1987. The maximum number of registrations has been reached. Every year (if possible) on the 2nd Sunday in June there is a tour of approximately 120km in length. The route will be somewhere different every year. The tour starts from the third edition annually at The Beach in Aalsmeer and finishes there. After the finish most of the cars and motorcycles can be admired by the public. The first participants of ARN will be expected at the finish around 14:00 pm. It is special that draftsman Koen de Vreeze (Fabriekshuys drawing studio) is present to show how he produces his special drawings. Those present can also have the car drawn by De Vreeze. There is also a real competition attached to Aalsmeer Roest Niet. Prize winners will be announced within various categories at 17.30 pm.
