This Lada 2105 (kinship with Fiat is obvious) is probably worn down and therefore left in Greek nature. Also in the Netherlands this phenomenon was known in the 50 years, the license plate off and the wreck somewhere lost afterwards. The municipality was an eyesore and the wrecks were removed. This photo by Jan Prins proves that people are less bothered by it and waited in peace (and rust) until nature takes over the car. DdJ
The further east, the more Lada's 2101-2107 you will encounter. Usually badly beaten and run down, but they are very tough things and easy to maintain, well, repair. No electronics, that is also a reason not to sell it for a computer-controlled high-tech wonder from the EU or Japan that you cannot keep working with only the included tool kit. Do not forget that this series is one of the most and longest produced cars in history.
Just back from Egypt, we saw another one in the break version.
In the color black with large white letters LADA on the side.
I think the owner was very proud of his car, because he looked great.
