The innovations of that time are still present in our modern cars. Citroën was groundbreaking in that regard. Maybe that's why it's nice to go back to the text of one Citroën Traction Avant ad in the 50's: “It's one Citroën. The renowned front-wheel drive passenger car. The car that guarantees fast and safe driving. Also on wet roads and sharp bends. (He can't make a slipper!) The nice line. The powerful and solid engine. The strong cantilevered body. Old-fashioned car advertising remains interesting. You can then look back and see that it was depicted in different ways. The technically advanced front-wheel drive (Traction Avant) had the image of Citroën strengthen. And with the text of the 'slipper' they immediately caught the attention of the car enthusiast.
