Lex Peters took the head start in race one, but soon saw Vriend come alongside to leave with speed. The exciting duel between Peters and Wellink ended with a touché, after which Ronald Lenters took second place, ahead of Jan Frensch, who was very satisfied with his preperateur Jan Stakenburg.
In the second race Lenters took the lead, but this time also Friend restored the ranking and then decidedly to hit a hole. For a long time, Wellink seemed to grab behind third place, but a clever action by Frensch relegated Wellink to fourth.
