AMK 1922-Megola"The wheel turns six times slower than the engine." That sounds intriguing. We are talking about the Megolas made between 1921-1925 in Munich by his proud designers Meixner, Cockerell, and Landgraf.

The 640 cc five-cylinder delivered 14 hp, worked without a clutch and gearbox. The engine block was mounted in the front wheel and the front axle was also crankshaft. This very smooth engine was a success, also in competitions (the top speed of the race version was 140 km / hour!). 2000 Megolas were built.

  1. En egyszer vezethettem egy ilyet, 2000 körül, Németországban. Remekül restaurált példány volt. Jól lehetett vezetni - amíg egyenes volt az út. The kanyarodni many, főleg, úgy 50 fölött… A motor giroszkopikus ereje miatt onion. fordulni nem, vagy alig volt hajlandó. Ez egy korai példány volt, az előgyújtást még kézzel kellett szabályozni. Szóval ötletes szerkezet - ahogy a gazdája elmondta, inkább csak gyűjtők vették, hogy “legyen egy ilyen is”…
