If you have delved into the classic world a little bit, you will probably have heard that the MG Magnette ZA and ZB are developing quite well in terms of price. That's because in the decades behind us they were happy to be "demolished" to deliver parts for something like an MG MGA.

'Men' actually didn't like such a Magnette. Until it was driven. All the way back in the fifties, your ass on real leather, surrounded by wood, many meters and impressive from its place and well inhibiting. There are not many left. The beautiful specimens change owner for serious money, the specimens to be restored are fiercely cut, welded, sheet metal worked, sprayed and technically restored. Even if you can do it all yourself (and do it!), It will be an expensive car at the end of the day.
We came across this at Wight
Moving through Totland - indeed on the Isle of Wight - we suddenly saw one standing in a meadow. From 1955. The owner of this pure British classic had already begun the restoration. A large part of the dismantling had already taken place, the bumpers and rosettes had already been chromed again and then the draft came in. 'Money' and 'time' were the brakes on the project. After years of staying in a damp shed, the poor thing was pushed out and could spend his (after) days there. It is a case where a lot of welding work is still to be done - on the bottom, sills, door posts -, technically everything still needs to be done and the entire upholstery, including headliner and floor covering, must be replaced. Just stand on it? A challenge. The car was last in the street in 1974.
